This week has been very busy.
Year 7 visited a Gurdwara in Newcastle as part of their RE curriculum.
Our Forest School attendees had to take shelter inside to continue their activities. They did some lovely traditional weaving.
It was also the last Pobble creative writing competition of the term. Across school everyone wrote something original based on the same picture. Winners are chosen by our Deputy Head and receive a notebook to continue their creative writing.

This week across school we have been commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day. Following our HMD assembly, all our pupils have been making paper hands to put together as a flame to light up the dark.
At Breakfast club everyone has been enjoying the new games and activities that we have been able to buy. Our breakfast club is free to all pupils and runs from 8-8.30am. We offer a range of cereals, fruit, toast, yoghurt and bagels. Everyone is welcome.

This week year 8 were out in Newcastle talking to members of the public about language in everyday contexts as part of their `World Around Us` topic in English. They also went to the Discovery Museum to look at the Newcastle through the Ages exhibit.
In our KS3 assembly this week we welcomed Kooth who talked about the services they offer young people to support their mental health.
