Ski Trip 2026.

This week we celebrated World Book Day. As well as designing and wearing their own t-shirts, we also had some fantastic costumes.
Each form class decorated their classroom door as a book and by pupil request there was 10 minutes of `drop everything and read`.

Ski Trip 2026. On the final day of skiing our skiers had covered 22km before lunch and been to their highest point this week - 2698m.
This afternoon they have done their test to get their ski badges. They have all made tremendous progress.

Ski Trip 2026 - on the penultimate day of skiing our intrepid skiers covered 17.4km, starting at 2510m. They ended the day practising parallel turns.

Ski Trip 2026 - today`s action from the slopes. Definitely getting the hang of skiing and also sliding (known as spooning). There was also a trip on a toboggan run.

Ski Trip 2026 - our intrepid skiers hit the nursery slopes for the first time this morning.
They ended the day with some green runs and tried out the chair lift.
This evening they will be out exploring the town.

This week Year 7 took part in an NHS careers event `Next generation nurse`, learning about the different nursing careers. As part of this they created posters showing what the NHS might look like in the future.
Our ski trip participants had their last ski fit session before they travel to France this weekend.

Today we welcomed our families into school for our pupils to show them what they have been working on.
Our pupils are very proud of their work.
Families also had the opportunity to see our Art Showcase. A fantastic selection of projects from across the school.
