Discover Our Growing School
Join us for our Open Evening – 28 April, 4–6pm
An exciting new chapter is unfolding at Monkseaton Middle School as we grow into a Year 5–11 school, beginning with Year 9 in September 2027 and expanding year on year. Rooted in our ethos of We Excel, We Succeed, We Thrive, we offer a warm, inclusive and ambitious small‑school environment where every child is known, supported and inspired to be the very best they can be.
Families can choose a school where children start in Year 5 and stay throughout their entire education journey, growing in confidence, character and achievement every step of the way. With high‑quality teaching, exceptional pastoral care and an expanding range of academic and vocational GCSE pathways as we move into Years 10 and 11, Monkseaton Middle School is a place where every learner grows, achieves and truly belongs. Come and feel the energy, ambition and care that make our school a remarkable place to learn.

This week has been a busy end to term. On Tuesday the whole school got involved in Community Day. Groups made friendship bracelets, tried mindful `no peek` drawing, heard from the RNLI about water safety, took part in dance, football, litter picking, a drum workshop and reading to pupils at our neighbours, Appletree Gardens and many other activities.
We hope all our families enjoy a well deserved break and we`ll see you back in school on April 20th.
